Paul’s Tech Tips: Selecting Multiple Items

Something that comes up a lot when I’m training is, how, on the mac, do you select more than one of something at a time?

This is especially useful when trying to create a photo album, or when trying to delete multiple items.

So, to select individual photos or files, hold down the Command Key (cmd) and click on anything you need. To select everything between two points, click on the first file or photo, hold down the shift key, and then click on the last item in the list/window and everything between will be selected.

This can be applied to a wide range of apps and programs such as your emails in Mail, or music in your iTunes!

You're in
good hands.
