Quickly Change Mac Settings with this neat Keyboard Shortcut!

If you want to quickly change settings for your display or audio there’s a keyboard shortcut that is rarely mentioned!

Holding option (alt) and, along the top bar of the keyboard, pressing the the brightness buttons will take you to the display settings under System Preferences. Equally option and the volume buttons takes you to the audio settings and pressing option and dashboard/mission control takes you to relevant part of the settings again!

Perhaps not an essential tip but worth knowing if you need to change settings on the fly!

(If you have ‘Use F keys as standard function keys’ checked under ‘Keyboard’ you may have to hold Fn as well).
