Bose previously suffered from having too broad a range of Home Cinema speakers. It was difficult for the laymen amongst us to pinpoint exactly which speaker would be the best fit for their home and, indeed, the best value for money.

During their latest product launch Bose have completely revamped their line and have narrowed and refined their range of speakers. In the midst of this, they announced the replacement for the entire range of Cinemate soundbar systems – the solitary SoundTouch 300. Having taken the mantle several speakers at once, this soundbar offers something for everyone with a completely modular design, looking great while doing so with it’s impressive appearance and a premium glass topped aesthetic.

The SoundTouch 300 is itself a singular speaker with all of Bose’s best technologies included. This unit is equipped with Bluetooth for ad-hoc music streaming from another device; SoundTouch for around home streaming and playing music throughout your whole home; and AdaptIQ for ensuring that, wherever the speaker is placed, you’ll receive optimal cinema sound quality!

What really makes this soundbar unique though is the fact that at a later date you can expand on what the speaker can do. Sitting alongside this speaker are two optional accessories – the Virtually Invisible 300 wireless surround sound speakers and the Acoustimass 300 wireless bass unit. These can be added at a moments notice to expand the low notes of the soundbar or to give the complete immersion that only surround sound can do! The two accessories can even be combined to provide some of the best sound that you can get from a soundbar home cinema system!
